An hour of playing time, “Borussia” and “PSG” spent a bit boring, but the remaining half hour was fiery: a goal by Neymar, a double of Holland, and the Germans…

Guide to tickets for Euro 2020. How to get to the tournament now

We emphasize right away: the acceptance of applications for the bulk of the tickets has ended. It went through two main stages.

June 12 – July 12, 2019. The first acceptance of applications. That same summer, successful applications had to be paid.
December 4 – December 18, 2019. Acceptance of applications from fans of the teams that have reached the final part.
At the end of January 2020, fans who approved the applications received emails. They must pay for the tickets within a certain period of time. Next is the next stage of sales. She will be the third and final.

We remind you: we still don’t know all the Euro participants. In April 2020, sales will begin for fans of those teams that get into the tournament through joints. UEFA representatives also envisaged the sale of tickets in a live queue if the offer exceeds demand (this is unlikely).

How to buy tickets now?
Chances are few, but they are. This time everything is legalized: a special platform will work – euro2020.com/tickets. With its help, every holder of a ticket for Euro 2020 will be able to resell it at face value. So two problems are solved at once – resellers and a serious overpricing. In this case, both the seller and the buyer will be safe.

What is the price?
Here are the prices for individual tickets – they range from 75 euros to 945 euros. At approximately the same price tags they can be bought during resale.

There are two categories of tickets that are not clear to everyone.

The first is Fans First. On the UEFA website they write that they are no different from the third category of tickets. The difference is only in two things: they are much smaller, but they are also cheaper in price. Another category is “Follow my team” (not on the chart). They cannot be resold, because tickets are conditional. If your favorite team gets into the playoffs, you can come to the match with them. If not, UEFA will refund the price to the owner.

Euro 2020 caused serious excitement among fans around the world. On February 14, UEFA published the news that fans of the Euro 2020 teams have applied for 28.3 million tickets. This is twice as much as it was before Euro 2016. Naturally, the format of the European Championship is affecting such interest. In the summer of 2020, it will be held immediately in 12 countries.

UEFA also announced another experiment: the organization will try mobile ticket delivery. Due to this, the duplication and duplication of passes for the match will be prevented. A special QR code is activated only via Bluetooth when the fan approaches the stadium. A special mobile application is being prepared for this – it will be available for download closer to the end of May.

All information on the remaining tickets is on this site. There are answers to all the basic questions for those who have already bought tickets.
